Kimberly Scott
Kimberly Scott is a facilities management “partner” for Starbucks Coffee Company, Siren Retail - Global Development, responsible for all aspects of facilities management for the multiple retail & industrial locations throughout the Chicagoland area, which include the Chicago Roastery, the world’s largest Starbucks.
Kimberly has successfully amassed more than twenty-five years of experience in facilities, project, and construction management for broad-based property types including, but not limited to; office, residential (public & private sector), mixed-use, industrial, institutional, healthcare and retail. Additionally, Kimberly’s unique mix of operations management and astute leadership has been proven by her turnaround initiatives and award-winning coalition building.
Kimberly’s passion, pioneering and trailblazing efforts have gained her notable recognition, including NMSDC Outstanding Buying/Contracting Executive "Buyer of the year,”; Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (IHCC) Hispanic Business Advocate Award; “Power of Alignment" Diversity Award; Chicago Defender “Women of Excellence”; Far Southside CAC “Humanitarian Award”; and Renewing the Mind “Community Change Agent Award”.
There is never a dull moment for the Chicago native. Determined to make a difference, when Kimberly is not busy addressing facilities opportunities, she’s a staunch soldier, championing Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) initiatives (locally & regionally); serving underserved communities; supporting/mentoring community organizations/contractors; facilitating workshops empowering African American youth; and co-chairing, Starbuck’s Midwest BPN (Black Partner Network).
